Company's Solutions

Newsight Imaging develops advanced CMOS image sensor chips for 3D machine vision. Newsight’s solution is low power and high sensitivity sensor, specially designed for ultimate precision with accuracy greater than 99%. The 3D sensors could be used for performance enhancement and game-analyzing applications. For example, quantifying applications, player performance analysis or game evaluation, and automated judgment for football and tennis, all with greater performance than 2D cameras that are subject to image-processing inaccuracies and latency in results.

There are 2 main advantages of using 3D vision over other tracking and analyzing vision solutions on the market. The first is the added ability to recognize events that require several angles when using a regular camera (for instance, if the ball was thrown out of the parameters). Using 3D, the solution can provide accurate measurements of the distance immediately to determine the ruling. Another advantage of 3D is speed calculation. The sensor supports an extremely high frame rate while being able to calculate the distance in each and every frame, thus it can ultimately calculate the speed of the ball or the players in the court/field.

The NSI1000 CMOS Image sensor chip consists of 32 lines of 1024 pixels and can be operated in multiple settings in the same frame, such as 2D camera, eTOF, and multi-triangulation for state-of-the-art fast-paced detection. Using Newsight's unique enhanced Time of Flight (eTOF™️), the sensors can produce a detailed 3D image of the environment for longer distances, indoor and outdoor. This technology can be used for fast, affordable real-time monitoring and reporting of live games. The next-generation NSI9000 1024 x 480 pixels resolution sensor will launch by Q2 of 2022 and will feature new event-based capabilities that track and submit the movement once a change in the pixel is detected, ultimate for game-analysis applications.

One of Newsight's biggest advantages is the ability to take our product from sensor to a full solution when partnering with the right client. The sensor is highly configurable and can be customized to a tailored solution with the help of our team of experts. The Sensor's small size and low cost, enables reliable 3D measurement for otherwise expansive and complicated solutions, for mass deployment at any field, or as a portable solution. The sensor's IoT connectivity checks in with the need for real-time alerts with 0 latency, that help prevent the interruption of stopping a live competitive game. Newsight's sensor is “AI Ready”, it is compatible with AI and machine learning, creating new advanced sensing, that ultimately makes the entire game judgment "smarter".
